About the Fellowship
Build for Bharat
Fellows will be placed in government departments in partnership with our program. Here, they’ll work on high-impact tech projects that either improve the lives of millions or enhance the effectiveness of government operations.
Mentorship
Fellows will have access to online office hours with leading experts in databases, security, distributed systems, open-source technology, and design—drawn from top tech companies, academia, and the public sector.
Future Public Technologist
Fellows will undergo a curate and rigorous orientation program, so they understand the realities of public service, policy, and the unique challenges of implementing tech solutions within complex social frameworks.

Students who are graduating in 2025 or 2026. Others will not be eligible for the program.
Skills we are looking for
Demonstrable experience and solid skills in either Design (UI/ UX/ User Research), Cybersecurity, Full Stack, Data Science, GIS or Product Management
Builders & Changemakers
Those who have commitment to use their skills for broader social good. Problem-solvers who question, build and drive change.
